For agencies
Set up tracking for your first client, test it, and invite them to NMC.
Your agency owns the NMC account and every client Business you create inside it. You manage each client’s tracking, integrations, and shared account billing, while invited clients can view and update their own leads without seeing your billing, settings, or other clients.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Make sure you have:
- Access to edit the client’s website, Google Ads campaigns, or Google Business Profile.
- Access to the phone line that should answer forwarded calls so you can verify it.
- If connecting Google Ads, a Google sign-in that can access the client’s Google Ads account. Access through a manager account (MCC) works too, including setups where conversions are counted in the manager account. See Connecting Google Ads.

Section titled “Set up your first client”-
Choose your plan
Section titled “Choose your plan”Sign in to NMC and choose I run an agency to start the Agency plan. Your first 14 days are a free Trial; Billing shows your current plan details and when your trial ends.
-
Add the client business
Section titled “Add the client business”Create a Business with the client’s company name and website URL. Create a separate business for every client whose leads, tracking numbers, and results should stay separate.
-
Check your shared balance
Section titled “Check your shared balance”Open Billing to review your account balance, add funds if needed, and turn on auto-reload. Every client business on your account draws from this shared balance.
-
Set up tracking
Section titled “Set up tracking”Open the client business’s Tracking page and choose what to track. Verify the client’s forwarding number, then complete the setup steps for that source. Before adding your account’s first tracking number, NMC prompts you to save a payment card.
-
Connect Google Ads (optional)
Section titled “Connect Google Ads (optional)”If you run Google Ads for this client, connect their Google Ads account. By default, NMC uploads conversions as observation-only without changing campaign bidding; see what NMC changes.
-
Test calls and forms
Section titled “Test calls and forms”Place a test call from a separate phone to confirm the client’s line rings and the call appears in NMC. For website forms, run Test my form to verify the captured fields before enabling live tracking.
-
Review alerts and lead settings
Section titled “Review alerts and lead settings”Check Notifications and the business’s Lead handling settings before handing access over. Once invited clients accept their invitation, they can manage their own email switches under Email alerts.
-
Invite your client
Section titled “Invite your client”Open Settings → Client access to invite the person on the client’s team who handles incoming leads, and send them the invited client guide.
Confirm everything is ready
Section titled “Confirm everything is ready”Setup is complete once a test call rings through to the client, the call’s activity appears in NMC, and any tracked website forms have passed their test and been enabled. If Google Ads is connected, check Integrations → Google Ads separately to confirm conversion setup is healthy; seeing a lead in NMC’s inbox doesn’t automatically mean a conversion has already uploaded to Google Ads.
Once you have multiple clients running, use the Clients page to compare results across businesses, and check that you’re viewing the same date range when reviewing numbers with a client.
