Business settings

Update your business name, website, timezone, and currency, and choose how NMC groups and manages leads.

Anyone with account access can manage a business’s settings (invited clients cannot). If your agency manages multiple client businesses, check that you have the right business selected before editing. Each section has its own Save and Cancel buttons that activate once you make an edit.

Open Settings → General to update the business name, website, Business timezone, and Business currency (USD or CAD).

  • Website: Enter the business’s actual website and domain. Changing the website later can require you to recheck website tracking and forms.
  • Timezone and currency: While Google Ads is connected, Business timezone and Business currency stay synced with the connected Google Ads account. If you need to change either one independently, disconnect Google Ads first.
Setting Default and range Guide
Activity grouping window 30 days by default (1–90 days) Repeat calls, texts, forms, and emails
Auto-update inactive leads Off by default (1–14 days when on, starts at 7) AI review

Increasing the grouping window keeps follow-up calls, texts, form submissions, and forwarded emails from the same person grouped onto the same open lead for a longer stretch of time. NMC matches repeat contacts by phone number first and email address second; see how NMC recognizes a person.

Other settings live on their own pages in the dashboard:

  • Call forwarding and recording: Open Tracking.
  • Conversion windows and minimum call length: Open Google Ads.
  • Extra lead alert addresses and text alerts: Open Notifications. Each team member manages their own personal email preferences under Email alerts.
  • Client access, API keys, and webhooks: Each has its own page under the business’s Settings menu, including Client access.
  • Account-wide billing and usage: Billing and Usage appear under Account in the settings menu and cover the entire account across all of its businesses.
