Local Services Ads
Connect Local Services Ads to see what your Local Services Ads leads cost.
Connect Local Services Ads to see your Local Services Ads spend, cost per lead, and ROAS on Overview. Once a day, NMC imports completed daily spend and checks which days Google lists calls in your Local Services Ads account. This connection is strictly read-only: NMC never changes anything in your Local Services Ads account.
NMC counts only phone calls to your Local Services Ads tracking number. Messages and direct bookings inside Google aren’t tracked in NMC. Spend reflects what Google billed for those days; credits Google later issues for disputed calls go back to your Local Services Ads balance and aren’t subtracted from historical spend in NMC.
How to connect
Section titled “How to connect”- Set up Local Services Ads tracking and place its tracking number in your Local Services Ads account. (You can connect the integration before the number goes live, though cost reporting only begins once calls start coming through.)
- Open Integrations → Local Services Ads (requires account access).
- Click Continue with Google and sign in with a Google account that has access to your Local Services Ads account.
- NMC finds the underlying Google Ads account for your Local Services Ads account. If you have access to more than one, pick the right account and click Use this account.
The Local Services Ads account must match your business currency, use a supported timezone, and not already be connected to another NMC business.
Local Services Ads results start
Section titled “Local Services Ads results start”Cost and ROAS metrics on Overview count from your Local Services Ads results start date. NMC sets this date automatically to the first day when Google lists a call in your Local Services Ads account and a call reaches your Local Services Ads tracking number. Placing a test call yourself won’t trigger this date because Google doesn’t list direct dials in your Local Services Ads account. Until that first matched day happens, the integration page explains that cost reporting is waiting to start.
You can also click Set date or Change date to pick the start date yourself (any date on or after the day your Local Services Ads tracking started). NMC keeps imported daily spend from earlier dates stored, so you can move the start date backward later if needed.
When calls aren’t reaching NMC
Section titled “When calls aren’t reaching NMC”Once your results start date is set, NMC compares the days when Google lists calls in your Local Services Ads account against the days when calls actually rang your tracking number. Looking at the days since both last happened on the same day, if Google lists calls on 2 or more days within the last 14 imported days without any call reaching your tracking number, NMC shows the problem Calls from Local Services Ads aren’t reaching NMC and sends one email alert. Check your Local Services Ads account to make sure your NMC tracking number is still set as the phone number there.
The problem clears automatically on the next daily import after a day when both Google lists a call in your Local Services Ads account and a call rings your tracking number (a manual test call won’t clear it). Days while tracking is paused in NMC, or after you remove Local Services Ads tracking, aren’t counted toward this check.
When NMC can’t read your account
Section titled “When NMC can’t read your account”If Google blocks NMC from reading your Local Services Ads account during the daily import, Integrations → Local Services Ads shows one of two problems and sends one email alert:
- Local Services Ads account can’t be reached: the connected Google user lost access to the account. Give that Google account access again in Google Ads and the problem clears on the next morning’s import, or click Reconnect with a Google user who has access to clear it right away. (If the account moved under a different manager account, clicking Reconnect is required.)
- Local Services Ads account isn’t active: Google suspended or canceled the account. Once Google reinstates it, the problem clears automatically on the next morning’s import.
NMC retries every morning. Previously imported costs stay visible on Overview, and as soon as access returns, NMC backfills every missed day.
Disconnecting
Section titled “Disconnecting”Clicking Disconnect stops daily cost imports and clears stored Local Services Ads spend and your results start date from NMC. Calls to your tracking number continue to create leads as normal. If you reconnect later, NMC re-imports spend starting from the day your Local Services Ads tracking began.
