Auto-reload
Automatically add funds when your balance runs low, up to a monthly limit you set.
Auto-reload keeps your balance funded so tracking doesn’t pause when call or lead volume picks up. You choose the balance that triggers a reload, how much to add each time, and the maximum amount auto-reload can charge in a single billing cycle. Auto-reload is off until you turn it on.
Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”- Open Billing → Auto-reload.
- Under When my balance drops below, choose the balance that triggers a reload.
- Under Add this fixed amount, choose how much to add each time. Pick an amount that fits within your billing-cycle limit.
- Under Billing-cycle limit, choose the maximum total amount auto-reload can add during one billing cycle.
- Check your saved card and read the payment terms, then choose Turn on auto-reload. If your balance is already below your trigger amount, the button changes to Turn on and add $25 now (using your chosen reload amount) and charges your card right away.
| Setting | Choices (USD) | Default |
|---|---|---|
| When my balance drops below | $5, $10, or $25 | $10 |
| Add this fixed amount | $10, $25, $50, $100, or $250 | $25 |
| Billing-cycle limit | $100, $250, $500, or $1,000 | $100 |
Your billing-cycle limit resets at the start of each new billing cycle, which follows your plan renewal date rather than the first day of the calendar month.
When it reloads
Section titled “When it reloads”NMC checks your balance after each deduction, when your plan renews, and whenever you turn auto-reload on or back on. If your balance is below the trigger amount and another reload isn’t already in progress, NMC charges your saved card for the reload amount. Each reload pays off any negative balance first and adds the rest to your available balance.
If auto-reload stops
Section titled “If auto-reload stops”- Card declined (paused): When a card is declined, NMC pauses auto-reload and shows Auto-reload is paused with Update card, which opens the Auto-reload section on Billing. There, choose Update card to change the card, then choose Turn back on. If your balance is still below your trigger amount, turning it back on charges the reload amount right away.
- Billing-cycle limit reached: Automatic reloads stop until your next billing cycle begins. You can still add money manually at any time using Add funds.
- Plan past due or inactive: NMC won’t run auto-reload or let you add funds until your plan is active again.
- Payment pending: While a reload payment is still confirming, Balance on Billing shows “Your $50 payment is being confirmed” (for your reload amount). Another auto-reload won’t start until Stripe responds or NMC stops waiting for a response, though you can still choose Add funds manually.
Turning auto-reload off stops future automatic reloads. Any reload payment that is already in progress may still go through, and completed payments aren’t reversed when you turn auto-reload off.
Low-balance alert
Section titled “Low-balance alert”Under Low-balance alert on Billing, you can set an Alert amount ($10 by default) and choose Save. NMC emails every admin on the account once when your balance drops below that amount, and sends another email if your balance drops below $0.
This email is only a reminder and doesn’t add funds for you. Choose an alert amount that gives you enough time to add funds before your balance reaches $0 and tracking pauses.
