AI assistants

Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, and other AI apps about your leads through NMC's MCP server.

AI apps such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini CLI can read your NMC data through NMC’s MCP server at https://mcp.nomissedconversions.com. You can ask plain questions about your leads, calls, texts, form submissions, forwarded emails, and ad results, and get answers backed by the exact same numbers shown on your overview and inbox.

Connecting an AI app gives it read-only access to the NMC data your user role can already see in the dashboard:

  • Every user can read leads, activities, contacts, ad results, and leads needing attention (Leads still in New and leads in Needs review) for every business they have access to.
  • Admins on an account can also read tracking sources, tracking numbers, Google Ads conversion setup and bidding, and all account and business problems.
  • On an account, standard users get the same business-level tracking and Google Ads details for their assigned businesses, plus account-level problem visibility limited to whether tracking is paused and the date it pauses.
  • Client users see only what appears on their own screens: tracking sources, tracking numbers, Google Ads conversion setup, bidding, and connection details stay hidden, and problem visibility is limited to whether tracking is paused and whether calls may not connect.

The AI app reads strictly as your user through NMC’s MCP server. It can’t edit your data, change your password, email, or sign-in sessions, or perform actions in the dashboard. Connect only apps you trust, and disconnect any app you stop using.

Connected AI apps read data through these tools:

  • nmc_list_businesses: lists the businesses you can access, along with current problems and counts of leads needing attention.
  • nmc_count_leads: counts leads for one or more businesses alongside the previous period, with optional breakdowns by day, week, month, weekday, hour, channel, source, campaign, lead type, call status, or close reason.
  • nmc_list_leads: lists the individual leads behind a count, or finds a contact’s leads by name, email, or phone number.
  • nmc_get_lead: reads a single lead’s journey, contact, source, and Google Ads conversion statuses.
  • nmc_list_activities and nmc_get_activity: lists calls, texts, form submissions, and forwarded emails as they arrived, or reads a single call transcript, text, form submission, or forwarded email.
  • nmc_get_ad_results: reads Google Ads and Local Services Ads spend, cost per lead, and ROAS in total, by campaign, or by day, week, or month.
  • nmc_get_google_ads_conversions: reads the conversions NMC uploaded to Google Ads and the stage Google Ads bids on (Account access only).
  • nmc_get_tracking: reads tracking sources, tracking numbers, and call assets (Account access only).

If you have account access, you can also copy the server URL from Integrations → AI assistants.

  • Claude and ChatGPT: add a custom MCP connector pointing to https://mcp.nomissedconversions.com.
  • Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http nmc https://mcp.nomissedconversions.com, then run /mcp, select nmc, and authenticate.
  • Codex: run codex mcp add nmc --url https://mcp.nomissedconversions.com, then run Codex’s MCP sign-in command (shown in codex mcp --help).
  • Gemini CLI: run gemini mcp add --transport http -s user nmc https://mcp.nomissedconversions.com, then run /mcp auth nmc.

Your browser opens NMC to finish connecting. Sign in if prompted, review the approval screen, and click Allow.

The approval screen shows the app’s name, the callback address it returns to, and the NMC email address you’re signed in with. Click Allow to connect the app, or Cancel to return without connecting. You don’t need to re-enter a password, so connecting takes one click if you’re already signed in. When an app runs locally on your computer, NMC reminds you to approve it only if you launched that app yourself.

Only Claude, ChatGPT, and local desktop/CLI apps (such as Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI) are allowed to connect. NMC blocks unrecognized web apps before the approval screen even opens.

  • Counts match lead lists and dashboard screens. Every lead count matches the exact list of leads behind it, and matches the dashboard whenever you view the same business, dates, and filters.
  • Leads are grouped by creation date. Counts group leads by when each lead was created in the business’s timezone and reflect each lead’s current status. Moving a lead back a stage removes it from the deeper stage’s count.
  • Google Ads results start from your ad results start date. Spend, cost per lead, and ROAS match the Google Ads table on Overview. Because costs only count from your ad results start date, cost-per-Lead calculations divide spend by leads from those same days (which can be fewer than the top overview cards when your selected date range starts earlier).
  • Google Ads upload totals vs. Google’s counted conversions. With account access, the app can compare conversions Google accepted from NMC against Google’s own counted conversion totals and show which stage Google Ads bids on. Google accepted means Google took the upload request, not necessarily that Google matched and counted it in campaign reports.
  • Local Services Ads results match overview. Costs reflect what Google charged alongside NMC’s leads from calls to your tracking number over the same dates, without subtracting credits Google later issues for disputed calls.
  • Every answer cites its scope. Responses state the business name, date range, and calculation time, and link to the matching dashboard screen when one exists.

Ask questions in everyday language. The shortened examples below come from querying NMC’s sample test businesses using real tool responses.

Asked about Northshore Heating & Cooling, a sample heating and cooling business:

“Did we get any good calls in this week?”

Yes. Looking at Oct 5–11, including today, Northshore got several solid calls: five callers agreed to appointments. Alex Tremblay (furnace repair in Langley) is marked Converted with CAD 778.99 and Ingrid Mehta (furnace tune-up in North Vancouver) at CAD 219.

“How many calls did I receive last week, broken down by source?”

Northshore Heating & Cooling got 13 calls last week (Sun Oct 4 – Sat Oct 10). By where NMC credited the lead, that’s Google Ads 4 (1 missed), Google Business Profile 4, Website 3 (1 missed) and Local Services Ads 2. The Overview shows 11 because it counts only calls that start a lead; the other 2 came from people whose lead was already open.

“How many leads are converting into actual booked jobs?”

About 35% of Northshore’s leads turned into booked jobs in the last 30 days (Sep 11 – Oct 10): 40 of 113 leads. By channel, Google Business Profile converted 9 of 22 (41%), Google Ads 16 of 41 (39%), Local Services Ads 4 of 12 (33%) and Website 8 of 31 (26%), the weakest, which also had the most missed calls (5 of 14). “Converted” means a lead someone at Northshore marked as Converted in NMC, so the rate is only as accurate as that marking.

“When am I missing the most calls?”

You’re missing the most calls in the evening, from 6 p.m. to midnight: 5 of 7 calls were missed (71%) over the last 30 days, Sep 11 – Oct 10, in Pacific time. That compares with 4 of 23 (17%) from noon to 6 p.m. and 3 of 22 (14%) from 6 a.m. to noon. 6–7 p.m. was the biggest single-hour gap, with 3 of 4 calls missed, and Thursday had the most misses of any weekday, 3 of 9 calls.

“How much am I paying per qualified lead from Google Ads?”

For the last 30 days (Sep 11 – Oct 10), Northshore paid CAD 82.19 per Qualified lead from Google Ads: CAD 2,876.72 in spend for 35 Qualified leads. By campaign, Brand cost CAD 33.95 per Qualified lead (5 of them), Heating & Hot Water CAD 75.67 (18) and Heat Pumps CAD 109.92 (12), while Air Conditioning spent CAD 25.90 with none. Google accepted 38 Qualified conversions and counted 32.03 of them, so its cost per conversion won’t match the 35 leads tracked here.

“Why is my Brand campaign not seeing any revenue?”

In the last 30 days (Sep 11 – Oct 10), “Search | Brand | Metro Vancouver” spent CAD 169.73, which brought 6 leads, 5 of them Qualified, and 0 Converted. The last two wins, from Sep 1 and Sep 10, converted for CAD 1,472.49 combined, but revenue counts in the period a lead came in, so they land just before Sep 11. Over the longer term Brand is your best campaign by return: since Feb 14 it has spent CAD 1,391.87 and brought in CAD 77,230.71 from 22 Converted Leads, about 55× what it spent, with Heat Pumps next at about 28×.

“What’s the full history for the person who called from (604) 555-5374?”

The caller is Sarah Bains, a homeowner at 6522 Canada Way in Burnaby, and NMC has recorded only one contact from her: a call today, Oct 11 at 11:17 AM, through the Google Ads call asset on tracking number (604) 555-0716. Her hot water tank is making a popping noise that’s been getting worse; you offered Luis tomorrow between 8 and 10 AM with a $149 service call, and she said she’d “call back when I know my schedule”, so nothing was booked. NMC doesn’t record your callbacks or anything on your own line, so it can’t tell whether anyone has followed up; she hasn’t called back on a tracked number since.

Agencies can ask any of the questions above for a single client business by name, or compare across every client on their account. These examples come from a sample agency with 11 client businesses, including Northshore Heating & Cooling, Harbour Electric, Cascade Home Services, Maple Drain Care, and Summit Roofing:

“Which of my clients need attention right now, and why?”

Summit Roofing, Maple Drain Care and Cascade Home Services need attention first, because current problems affect call connections or new leads. Calls to Summit Roofing may not connect because of an NMC issue, and its website hasn’t had a visit tracked since Oct 7, so its website calls may not be tracked and its forms may not create leads. At Northshore Heating & Cooling, Converted fell from 11 to 4 (Oct 4–10 against Sep 27 – Oct 3) while new leads rose from 26 to 32 and Qualified from 20 to 26.

“Is anything wrong or unusual with any of my clients lately?”

Yes, and the most urgent is your balance: it’s $62.51 and auto-reload is paused because the Visa ending 4242 was declined for $50 on Oct 11, and at $0 tracking pauses for every client. Over the last 30 days (Sep 11 – Oct 10), Northshore Heating & Cooling’s Converted value fell 57%, from CAD 200,819 to CAD 86,386, because it had 3 jobs over $10k worth CAD 42k together, against 10 worth CAD 155k before. Harbour, Cascade, Summit and Maple all brought in 46–57% more new leads than the previous period.

“Which client grew the most last month in booked jobs, and which in job value?”

Comparing September 2026 with August, and using NMC’s Converted leads as booked jobs, Maple Drain Care grew most in booked jobs, from 1 to 2, up 1 job (100%). Harbour Electric had the largest percentage increase in recorded job value, from CAD 2,464 to CAD 5,672, up 130%. CAD and USD amounts also can’t be ranked directly, and these figures group leads by when they were created, rather than when the jobs were booked.

“Is every client’s call tracking working?”

No, call tracking is fully working for only 3 of your 11 clients: Northshore Heating & Cooling, Harbour Electric and Cascade Home Services, whose numbers are all active and have taken calls. Calls to Summit Roofing and Maple Drain Care may not connect because of a problem on NMC’s end, and Summit’s Google Business Profile still shows (303) 555-0105, so calls from it aren’t tracked. None of Birch Tree Care’s 4 Google Ads call assets is live: (604) 555-0310 was disapproved by Google, (604) 555-0410 removed in Google Ads by someone else, (604) 555-0510 paused in Google Ads, and NMC couldn’t finish adding (604) 555-0610.

“How many leads are waiting for me at each client?”

You have 118 open leads in the New stage across 5 clients, and 52 of them have an AI suggestion to review. Cascade Home Services has 40 in New (19 to review), Harbour Electric 35 (16), Maple Drain Care 20 (9), Summit Roofing 17 (7) and Northshore Heating & Cooling 6 (1); the other six clients have none. NMC can’t see whether a client already called anyone back from their own phone, so some of these may already be handled.

“Which of my clients are down this month compared with the same days last month?”

None of your clients have fewer leads this month than last: comparing Oct 1–10 with Sep 1–10, Northshore Heating & Cooling is the only one with a real drop, and it’s in Converted jobs, not leads. Northshore got 47 leads against 38 (+24%) but Converted 11 against 16 (−5), and its Converted value is CAD 6,891 against 64,653 (−89%). Harbour Electric (CAD 1,930 against 3,468, −44%) and Maple Drain Care (CAD 308 against 2,204, −86%) have lower value but more Converted jobs than last month, and one job each this month has no value entered, so their drop could disappear once those values are filled in.

“Which of my clients miss the most calls, and at what times?”

Comparing all 11 clients over Sep 11 – Oct 10, Northshore Heating & Cooling missed the most calls and Cascade Home Services had the highest missed rate. Northshore missed 12 of 52 calls (23%), 5 of them from 6 p.m. to midnight, including 3 from 6 to 7 p.m.; 5 of its 7 evening calls were missed. Cascade missed 5 of 15 (33%), 3 of them on Thursdays (2 in the evening and 1 overnight).

“Across my clients, which Google Ads campaign had the best cost per lead last month?”

The lowest cost per lead last month (Sep 1–30) was Northshore Heating & Cooling’s “Search | Brand | Metro Vancouver” campaign: CAD 39.25 per lead (CAD 156.99 spend, 4 leads). That’s only 4 leads, though; of the campaigns with real volume, Northshore’s “Search | Heating & Hot Water” stands out at CAD 61.20 per lead across 19 leads, 11 of them Converted. Summit is billed in USD, but that doesn’t change the result, because USD 166.78 is more than CAD 39.25 at any exchange rate.

“Write a short summary of last month for Harbour Electric that I can send to the client.”

September brought Harbour Electric 29 tracked leads, up 21% from August. Google Ads generated six tracked leads, double August’s total, on CAD 1,234.23 in spend, and cost per lead fell from CAD 472.48 to CAD 205.71. A priority for October is reviewing missed calls: five of the ten calls that started leads went unanswered or to voicemail, and tracking doesn’t show whether those callers received a callback.

  • Search terms, auction insights, bids, or budgets. NMC imports campaign spend and conversion totals from Google Ads rather than keyword-level auction data, so an assistant can show what changed in lead volume or cost per lead without seeing auction shifts behind it.
  • Industry benchmarks or other companies’ data. An assistant only sees the businesses you have access to in NMC, so it can report your numbers without comparing them against outside industry averages.
  • Outbound callbacks or direct replies. NMC captures incoming calls, texts, form submissions, and forwarded emails that arrive through your tracking sources. Outbound calls or texts sent from your own phone line aren’t tracked, though repeat incoming calls from the customer do appear.
  • Whether Google Ads counted one specific lead. Google Ads reports counted conversions only as aggregate totals. An assistant can show each lead’s upload status alongside Google’s aggregate counted total for those dates, not which individual leads made up Google’s total.
  • Details hidden from client users. When a client user connects an AI app, tracking sources, tracking numbers, conversion setup, bidding, Google Ads connection details, and problems other than paused tracking or call connection errors remain hidden.

Open Sign-in & security, open the menu next to the app under Connected AI apps, and click Disconnect. NMC revokes the app’s access right away.

When you ask a connected AI app a question about your NMC data, NMC returns the data that tool call requests, and your AI provider processes it under its own privacy terms. See NMC’s privacy policy for details.
