Call recordings
Generate a short-lived signed URL to play or download a call recording.
To download or play a call recording, fetch the activity first and check its
has_recording field. When has_recording is true, call
GET /activities/{activity_id}/recording with your business API key:
curl --fail-with-body \ --header "Authorization: Bearer $NMC_API_KEY" \ "https://api.nomissedconversions.com/v1/activities/$ACTIVITY_ID/recording"The endpoint returns url and expires_at. Each signed URL stays valid for
five minutes, so request a fresh link whenever you need to play or download
the audio instead of storing url as a permanent media link.
Handle availability
Section titled “Handle availability”200: Returns a signed download link valid for five minutes.409: The recording is still being processed. Wait briefly and try again, or wait for anactivity.updatedwebhook.404: That activity has no recording. Call recording may have been turned off when the call took place, or the call didn’t produce usable audio. Turning recording on later only applies to new calls and won’t create audio for past calls.
Protect the URL
Section titled “Protect the URL”Anyone holding an unexpired signed URL can access the recording without an API
key until expires_at passes. Keep signed URLs out of public web pages, server
logs, analytics events, and support tickets. If your system downloads and stores
recording files, your own storage encryption, retention, and access rules apply
to those copies.
